Practicalities Hybrid mode: This role requires presence in our Helsinki office 3 days per week. Don’t worry - you won’t be alone or hangry there. (We keep a stocked fridge…) Employment type: Full-time and permanent. Responsibilities Support the operation and maintenance of self-hosted Kubernetes platforms across development and production environments Assist with Kubernetes provisioning, upgrades, monitoring, troubleshooting, and daily operations Participate in on-call rotations and support incident investigation and resolution Collaborate with senior engineers to improve platform reliability, automation, and developer experience Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation workflows Support Linux systems, containerized applications, and cloud-native infrastructure Assist with Kubernetes networking, observability, and security best practices Use AI-assisted engineering tools to improve troubleshooting, automation, and operational workflows Contribute to platform documentation, processes, and continuous improvements Key Competencies 1–3 years of experience with Kubernetes or cloud-native infrastructure Basic to intermediate Kubernetes operational knowledge Experience with Linux systems and container technologies Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows Scripting or programming experience (Bash, Python, or similar) Understanding of infrastructure and networking fundamentals Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and learn production operations Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn modern platform technologies Strong collaboration and communication skills Interest in AI-assisted engineering workflows and infrastructure tooling Nice to Have Experience with self-hosted Kubernetes environments Familiarity with Rancher and Cilium Experience with Ansible, Helm, ArgoCD, or GitOps workflows Exposure to observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana Familiarity with Kubernetes security concepts and network policies Experience with GPU-enabled containers or AI/ML infrastructure Exposure to Infrastructure as Code and automation tooling What's next We're building fast and this role needs the right person behind it.
