EIA Engineer

Join Metso's Equipment Engineering team in Lappeenranta and help shape innovative engineering solutions as an EIA Engineer. We consider candidates at all stages of their careers. Lappeenranta site is the main location and competence center for Metso Filtration and for Filtration Services, with manufacturing facilities for filter products. What you’ll do: Perform the detail design in equipment delivery projects; Ensure designs comply with Customer requirements and location-specific codes, standards, and legislation; Provide technical support for Product Management, Sourcing, Sales, Manufacturing, and Service; Be accountable for the technical quality and on-time delivery of design work; Grow to be an expert in Filtration technology area. Who you are: Master’s or bachelor’s degree in electrification or automation; 1–5 years of EIA engineering experience; Knowledge of PLC/iPC-controlled systems; Knowledge of EIA engineering- and product data management tools; Knowledge of Machinery Safety regulations and standards; Ability to work cross-functionally; Project-oriented methods; Proficiency in Finnish and English; Willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites and manufacturing workshops.
