Job Description
Norppa is a supported housing unit in Vantaa, near Mikkola, providing 24/7 specialized care for adults with developmental disabilities. The caregiver's role involves assisting, guiding, and supporting clients in daily activities, respecting their independence and using resource-oriented approaches. Work includes helping with household chores, personal health, and outside errands, with clients assigned personal guides. The work is in three shifts, emphasizing client participation and respect for their wishes. The team includes caregivers, a special caregiver, a district nurse, and a supervisor. The position is temporary, full-time, starting 22.07.2026 or as agreed, ending 30.09.2026, with a monthly salary of 2565.47 euros plus experience-based supplements. The role requires a qualified practical nurse (lähihoitaja) and a valid criminal record extract, vaccination against infectious diseases, and a clean credit record. The work is based on the Social and Health Care Collective Agreement.
