Construction Manager for Buildings - AFRY Finland - Remote - Global

As a Construction Manager for Buildings, you will lead the technical work in the projects you are involved in within the engineering field. You will be available for constructors and designers working on your projects and involve yourself in their daily tasks. You are responsible for ensuring that the documents delivered meet all requirements and maintain high quality. You will be involved in all cross-technical issues related to building structures and provide continuous feedback and motivation to other project members. You review documents before delivery to the client and own the documents delivered within the assignment. You also lead the technical dialogue with the client's technical support in building structures. The role does not include administrative responsibility for schedule and budget but focuses on technical aspects. Besides acting as a construction manager, you will also work as a constructor in more technically complex assignments to develop your own technical skills. You will also serve as a sounding board with other senior colleagues on high-complexity issues outside your main responsibilities. Our employees are primarily based in Solna, but we also have staff in Poland, India, and Luleå. You will be stationed in Solna.
