Job Description
Join our team and make a difference! We are seeking a speech therapist for a fixed-term, part-time (60%) position starting from August 10, 2026, or according to agreement. The contract is valid until December 31, 2026. Your responsibilities include speech therapy for children. The goal of speech therapy rehabilitation is to promote functions related to speech, language, communication, voice, eating, and swallowing. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, representing your professional field, and actively collaborate with the client and their close circle. You will also have professional support from a group of speech therapists. Your work location is on the 10th floor of the South Karelia Central Hospital, Wing A, in Lappeenranta, but you will also conduct visits to kindergartens, schools, and homes as needed. We expect you to be capable of working independently, have a solution-oriented approach, and possess good communication skills for network cooperation. The qualification requirement is a license issued under the Act on Health Care Professionals or an equivalent previous registration, with a degree in speech therapy. The salary for this position is €4,519.08. The position requires vaccination against infectious diseases as per section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act.
