Architectural Designer, Espoo - Granlund Oy - Helsinki, Finland

You want to do architectural design in projects where quality and complexity go hand in hand. At Granlund, you will develop your skills in diverse projects and work as part of a strong expert community. You will work on various land use and building design tasks, mainly focusing on preparing partial master plans and planning documents, but also participating in projects for commercial, industrial, and office buildings. Projects range from new construction to renovation, from start to implementation. Depending on your role and experience, you may act as the lead designer or project manager, overseeing the entire design process, coordinating, and ensuring the project progresses on schedule, within quality, and budget. You will lead the design team, participate actively in design meetings, and work closely with clients and stakeholders. At the Espoo architecture department, you will be part of a growing and evolving expert team emphasizing collaboration, knowledge sharing, and flat hierarchy. Our workday varies from small projects to large, technically demanding ones, but you will always have support from experienced colleagues. We are involved in significant regional and national projects, including hospitals, healthcare buildings, data centers, and industrial sites. We collaborate closely with specialists in building services and sustainability consulting, bringing added value and innovative solutions from the start. Our team has over 160 architects, and with other design disciplines included, support is always available. You have an architecture degree, experience in architectural design and land use projects, are accustomed to working with authorities, and can independently advance projects. You are proficient in modern design software like Archicad or Revit and hold relevant qualifications such as a special qualification for complex building design.
