Job Description
The Logistics & Import/Export Manager is responsible for managing the end-to-end process of global freight movements. This role ensures that all import and export operations are compliant with international regulations, and that goods are transported efficiently and cost-effectively. Key responsibilities include managing freight operations, overseeing shipment planning and tracking, resolving logistics issues, ensuring customs compliance, maintaining documentation, and managing vendor relationships for cost control and efficiency. The role requires a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field, with 5-7 years of experience in import/export logistics, proficiency with customs software and ERP systems, and knowledge of international trade laws and Incoterms. The manager will coordinate domestic and international shipments, develop contingency plans, liaise with customs authorities, and optimize transportation costs. The position is full-time, based in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
