Job Description
Pellinge Byaråd is looking for an afternoon activity supervisor for Pellinge. The job is suitable for someone who enjoys working with children and values a small, community-oriented, and nature-connected work environment. The Eftis operates a small group of cheerful and active elementary school children. Activities are organized in a unique archipelago setting where nature, the sea, and community are part of everyday life. As a supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring children have safe, enjoyable, and meaningful afternoons after school. Job duties include: Planning and guiding games, crafts, outdoor activities, and other activities Creating a safe, positive, and encouraging atmosphere Supporting children’s social interaction and social skills Organizing activities in nature and the local environment Collaborating with families, schools, and local organizations Practical tasks related to snacks and daily routines We value a warm attitude, initiative, responsibility, and interest in working with children. Previous experience working with children is an advantage, but the most important qualities are a suitable personality and enthusiasm for the role. In our small and close-knit community, you will work in an environment where the sea, nature, and island life are part of the workday.
