Job Description

We are looking for a reliable personal assistant for a long-term employment in a family with three children in Nummela (Vihti). We are primarily seeking a long-term employee. The employee is expected to be responsible and trustworthy. The work involves assisting the mother with everyday family routines and household tasks. Tasks include, for example, daily chores, errands, and transporting children to school, daycare, and activities using the family’s automatic transmission car, as well as maintaining confidentiality regarding family matters. Previous experience in similar work is an advantage but not necessary, as training will be provided at the start. The work is done in shifts with another assistant and includes both morning and evening shifts. Working hours are generally on weekdays: day shift around 6:45–12:00 or evening shift around 15:00–18:00 or 15:00–19:00 Additionally, longer shifts on weekdays and occasional weekend work can be agreed upon based on family plans, which may increase weekly hours. These are always agreed upon flexibly with the employee, and extra shifts are not mandatory. Initially, there are about 15–35 hours of work per week depending on the need. The employment begins with a 4-month trial period and can be a zero-hours contract (0–40 hours/week). After the trial, an agreement can be made on an average regular weekly hours, which will be approximately 15–35 hours per week. The salary is based on the HETA collective agreement: starting at €13.06/hour + possible experience bonuses and additional pay according to the collective agreement evening +15% Saturday +25% Sunday +100% public holiday +300% The work is not suitable for individuals allergic to animals, as the family has cats and dogs. A driver’s license and good driving skills are essential, as the job involves transporting children. The family’s automatic transmission car is used for work. Training will be provided at the start. A criminal record certificate is required for work with children (Act on the Background Checks of Persons Working with Children 504/2002). Applications via email: tyolapsiperheessa@gmail.com
