We are currently seeking an experienced CNC machinist for Vassa. You will work with a modern machine fleet on demanding parts as part of a skilled and developing production team. The products manufactured are typically small to medium series and single pieces for custom industrial solutions. As a CNC machinist, you will be responsible for a variety of machining tasks, including CNC turning and/or CNC milling (Fanuc / Siemens / Heidenhain). Use, adjustment, and light programming modifications of machining programs. Interpretation of technical drawings and implementation of the manufacturing process. Measurement, inspection, and quality assurance. Basic maintenance of machining equipment and workspace upkeep. Collaboration with design and other production areas. Requirements include experience in CNC machining or similar tasks, good ability to read technical drawings, proficiency with measuring instruments and precise work approach, initiative and responsible work attitude, and willingness to work in shifts if necessary. Preferred qualifications include experience with CAM software, experience with small series and single pieces, education in machine or production technology, and experience with demanding industrial machining (energy, maritime, or process industry).
