Job Description

ANNU Social Services is a company founded on Valentine's Day 2023, led by social and healthcare professionals. We are now looking for an employee to support our clients with special participation needs in Jyväskylä. The work initially involves approximately 50 hours per month with three clients. Work shifts are regularly scheduled on weekends in the mornings/afternoon. The purpose of special participation support is to ensure the right of a person with a disability to participate and be involved in social interactions and leisure activities, even when they are unable to independently or with support form and express their will regarding the content of assistance, or when personal assistance is not suitable for them. The goal of this support is to ensure that the client can enjoy activities they like, supported by individual assistance from another person. In practice, special participation support may include: Supporting shared interaction when the person with a disability has limited communication methods or needs support in using communication or connection devices Supporting meaningful activities with the person with a disability and their loved ones Helping find enjoyable hobbies or activities together with the support person Providing support at home using various technical devices for communication, arranging stimulating environments, engaging in arts or sports, outdoor activities, cooking, or baking. We are looking for a person with education in social, health, or guidance fields. Other educational backgrounds may also be accepted based on acquired work experience and skills. We hope the employee has knowledge of autism and developmental disabilities. Experience in working with disabilities is an advantage, but a genuine desire to work with clients with disabilities and those needing special support is even more important! The employee will receive comprehensive orientation at the beginning of employment. Proficiency in Finnish is required for performing the work. The work can start as soon as possible, and the position will be filled immediately once a suitable candidate is found. We offer flexible, meaningful paid work: ANNU Social Services provides a supportive and encouraging supervisor. We pay the salary either once or twice a month, depending on your choice. We follow the collective agreement for private social services and pay a salary according to the agreement (G18).
