EPC Power is now looking for a Controls Engineer to join its growing team in Helsinki! **Key responsibilities** As a Controls Engineer at EPC Power, you will work with embedded software and control system development for applications such as battery energy storage and grid stabilization. The role combines software development, simulations, testing, and practical engineering work in a modern power electronics environment. You will join EPC Power's application controls team and collaborate closely with simulation engineers as well as global software and hardware teams. Your daily work includes developing new functionalities for converter systems, solving software issues, and validating changes through simulations and testing. You will also participate in unit and integration testing, hardware-in-the-loop simulations, and technical documentation as part of the agile development process. **What makes you a great fit?** We hope you already have some relevant engineering experience, but we are also open to more seasoned professionals interested in the role and technology domain. Ideally, you have an electrical engineering background, experience from embedded software or control system development tasks, and familiarity with C and C++. In this role, you will succeed with a proactive and hands-on mindset and enjoy working in a dynamic development environment. Start time in the role is in September 2026. The office is located in Helsinki, and the work happens according to the hybrid model, both on-site and remotely. We are open to candidates from a variety of backgrounds and welcome both early-career professionals and more experienced experts in the process. Therefore, we are also open to discussing the compensation for the role based on the selected candidates' skills and experience. The salary for the position ranges from approximately 4500-7000€/month depending on your experience, and will be negotiated individually.
