School Attendance Supervisor, Tuiran School - Oulun kaupunki - Oulu, Finland

A fixed-term position as School Attendance Supervisor is available at Tuiran School from August 10, 2026, to November 29, 2028. The position is part-time, 32 hours per week. Tuiran School is a comprehensive primary school providing education for grades 1-9. The main responsibility of the School Attendance Supervisor is to act primarily as a personal and, where possible, group supervisor funded by ELY for a student with mobility impairments in the upper comprehensive school. Qualifications required include a vocational qualification in school attendance and morning and afternoon activity supervision, a practical nurse qualification with a focus on children and youth, or another suitable professional qualification that includes pedagogical studies or education and guidance studies. Additionally, completion of the ABC of Medication Administration is required. It is an advantage to have the ability and willingness to work communally and flexibly as a personal supervisor and to support teaching groups within the subject education system. The salary for the School Attendance Supervisor position is based on the job-specific pay system and levels of competence and responsibility, ranging from €2,341.57 to €2,460.00. The actual salary consists of the job-specific pay and possible other levels according to the KVTES agreement. The selected candidate must present a criminal record extract related to working with children, as required by law (504/2002) §3, before starting the position. The position includes a trial period.
