Hovirinnan School is a primary school with approximately 300 students and about 60 teaching staff. In our shared school building, we also have Swedish-language basic education. The position requires the qualifications of a special education teacher according to the decree 986/98. If qualified applicants are not available, non-qualified applicants will also be considered. In our school, special education includes class-specific small groups and city-wide, centralized special education groups for primary schools. We are now seeking a special education teacher for a special class. The teacher will work with their own special class in collaboration with two general education teachers. The position is in early childhood education. Successful performance in the role requires excellent interaction skills, a flexible approach, and a collaborative attitude. It is considered an advantage if the applicant is willing to utilize co-teaching to support students. We value up-to-date ICT skills and enthusiasm for developing teaching and learning environments. Qualifications are based on the decree 986/1998 on the qualifications of education personnel. The salary for the position, according to OVTES, is between €3,243.27 and €3,367.93 per month for qualified applicants.
