Job Description
KAMU Espoo City Museum is seeking a manager for the cultural heritage information production and information services unit. The manager's responsibilities include leading, developing, planning, and coordinating the activities of the cultural heritage information production and information services unit. The manager is also responsible for the authority functions related to the cultural environment. The manager will work as a member of the museum's management team and as part of the general leadership of the museum. They will act as a deputy for the museum director and the head of another service unit if necessary. We will consider all applications received during the application period. We may process applications already during the application period. The selection will be made after the application period ends, once interviews are completed. The recruitment process includes two interview rounds and a personal assessment. The planned interview dates are: June 5 and June 15. Workplace name and address: KAMU Espoo City Museum, Ahertajantie 5, 02100 Espoo. Working hours: Office hours, 36 hours and 15 minutes per week. The position is a permanent civil service position starting August 24, 2026. Qualifications: Appropriate higher university degree. The role requires expertise in supervisory work and operational management. The selected candidate should have knowledge of collection and information work as well as cultural environment work. Good proficiency in Finnish and satisfactory skills in Swedish and English are also required. We value extensive museum experience and good organizational and collaboration skills.
