Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity with Tech Mahindra for an Oracle DBA (L3) position supporting a leading Insurance client based out of Gurugram. This is a 5-days Work from Office role and requires strong hands-on experience in Oracle Database Administration. Role involves designing, implementing, optimizing, and maintaining Oracle database environments, handling complex architectures, ensuring high availability, performance tuning, and mentoring junior DBAs. Key responsibilities include installing, configuring, and upgrading Oracle databases, managing production, UAT, and development environments, performing patching, cloning, migrations, managing multi-tenant architecture, analyzing and resolving performance issues, designing backup strategies, ensuring disaster recovery readiness, setting up high availability systems, proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and leadership tasks. Required skills include Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, performance tuning, RAC, ASM, Data Guard, partitioning, security, AIX + Unix basics, OEM, RMAN, Data Pump, shell scripting, and Oracle certifications (OCP/OCM). Good to have skills include exposure to PostgreSQL, MS SQL, and ITIL. The role is senior level (L3/Senior/Lead) and may lead L1/L2 DBAs. Location: Gurugram, India. 5-day work, onsite.
