We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic teacher to join our team. The role involves working as a special education teacher across different grade levels at our school. The beautiful community school in Karjaa, decorated with Tove Jansson's artwork, is located in the center of Karjaa near the train station. Direct train connections to Helsinki and Turku run smoothly. The school has approximately 190 students and about 35 staff members. Collaboration and providing high-quality support for learning are important aspects of our daily work. The special education teacher provides support to students, including group-specific assistance. The teaching also includes small group instruction as part of individual support measures. The role involves special pedagogical consultation, which occurs through separate, joint discussions, as well as co-teaching during lessons, demonstrating models, and guiding students.
