A permanent position for a nurse is available in elderly care services, around-the-clock service housing, starting from August 1, 2026. The initial placement is at Kotivaara Soini, a home for 27 residents. In around-the-clock service housing, we emphasize a resident-centered approach, daily life individuality, and meaningfulness. Also, everyday rehabilitation to maintain residents' functional capacity and resources, as well as high-quality end-of-life care, play a central role. We value experience in elderly care, good cooperation and communication skills, the ability to work independently, flexibility and creativity in changing conditions, and responsibility. The work involves two-shift work. The qualification requirement is a licensed nurse degree, Law 559/1994. Language skills required are good spoken and written Finnish. Medication licenses must be completed. Terms of employment and salary are determined according to the SOTE agreement, with a task-specific salary of €2896.65/month at the start of employment. A probationary period applies during the hiring process. A certificate of health and a criminal record extract according to law (741/2023) § 28 must be presented before taking up the position. The selected candidate may be required to undergo a drug test. HYVAEP is a smoke-free workplace. The position requires vaccination against infectious diseases as per the Communicable Diseases Act § 48 and a certificate regarding tuberculosis of the respiratory tract as per § 55.
