Process Operator for biochar briquetting plant

The job is to work at Outokumpu's new biokoks briquetting plant in Tornio. You will be part of the start-up team for the new production line and contribute to safe, high-quality and efficient operation as well as continuous improvement of operating methods. Key tasks include: operating and controlling production processes, performing basic maintenance tasks, learning and applying the fundamentals of using, servicing and maintaining the new line, and drafting operating and maintenance instructions with the team; quality control and development of the product in the briquetting laboratory. We expect: a suitable basic or vocational qualification in engineering; at least three years of experience in operation and/or maintenance tasks; flexibility and good collaboration and interpersonal skills; fluent Finnish and ability to communicate in English; willingness to join the rescue team. To succeed you should have an unfailing attitude to safety, desire to develop your skills and grow into a multi-skilled production plant operator, and be comfortable working both in teams and independently, with determination and adaptability.
