Job Description

Territory sales managers drive profitable, sustainable sales growth within their assigned accounts or territories. They are responsible for account-level strategies and outcomes. They develop and execute strategies to deliver on their sales quotas and other established goals for their account base, including increasing share within current accounts and winning new customers. Territory Sales managers develop strong customer wiring and cultivate relationships. Individuals in these roles remain abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities to articulate Avery Dennison’s value propositions in solving customer needs. Territory Sales Managers navigate complex customer problems to determine the best solutions, either resolving issues on their own or delegating to other team members. They have a strong end-to-end knowledge of Avery Dennison’s product portfolio. Individuals in these roles negotiate pricing, terms, and service commitments based on established procedures. They may demonstrate Avery Dennison’s products and solutions and provide insights in helping customers determine the best applications. Territory Sales Managers collaborate with other Avery Dennison business units to identify customer needs, industry trends, and utilize the company’s comprehensive solutions to win in the market. Individuals in these roles work across multiple internal functions to set up and execute client solutions. Some of these roles may be individual contributors while others may provide leadership to an account team. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE: Responsible for increasing revenue by achieving sales objectives in existing & new accounts. New product Development along with Product Management & NPD for the potential enquiries from the customers / Market Create and manage territory and account strategies to deliver on price and product mix objectives.Provide product recommendations, samples, technical support, pricing and service information on demand.Provide product quotes and actively utilize value-selling tools and skills.Uncover and assess customer needs and develop and execute Value Proposition (Aligning Value).Demonstrate products and/or services and provide assistance in the best application of product and/or services.Proactively identify new business convertors/customers using screening techniques, referrals, and prospecting to potential customers within territory.Promote and launch our new product lines by coordinating with internal and external CustomersExperience in accurately forecasting and managing the sales of a high growth business.Prepare monthly and quarterly sales reports and submit their findings and analysis to the team and management.Develop a thorough understanding of market conditions (e.g., current customers, potential customers, competitors) in assigned territory, and develop a strategy to achieve revenue goals.Conduct territory analysis and planning to enable appropriate allocation of time to accounts and customers.Responsible for securing and maintaining distribution of products and/or services and maintaining effective agreements.Use account management skills to plan and execute customer marketing/growth programs for customers.Customer or Key Accounts Specific: Responsible for selling to a designated customer. May identify new opportunities within the Territory for potential business. Also responsible for needs analysis, development, negotiation, sale, delivery, and post-sale services to a group of clients.Participate in territory planning, customer planning and territory reviews.Develop and present SWOT analysis and make recommendations on products and growth opportunities.Maintain customer profiles and supply agreements. Establish pricing programs and strategies. Secure optimum product positioning within target accounts.Navigate complex problems and structures to determine the best solutions for customer needs.KEY METRICS Achievement of sales & collection target Personal Productivity Feedback from Customer Contribution in team Experience in printing Industry Qualifications WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU: persuasiveness. Self Starter & passion to excel Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / science preferred / B Sc & MBA 7 - 10 years related experience in B2B / B2C Sales / Direct Sales ONLY. Individual contributor. Traveling -15 days in a month Knowledge : Market, Product, Direct Selling Concept , Skills:- Selling, Negotiation, leadership Aptitude:- Outgoing, Hard working, Sincere, Action oriented Excellent communication and writing skills. Excellent analytical, research and report writing skills. Excellent multi-tasking skills. Skilled in developing clear, succinct articulation of communications objectives in the form of project briefs.
