Senior Advisor International Partnerships - Maritime Security Ecosystem - Turku Science Park Oy Ab - Turku, Finland

We seek a Senior Advisor to build peer-cluster partnerships with leading Northern European maritime security clusters such as Kiel, Gdańsk, Gothenburg, Horten and translate them into continuous joint activity. Position the Turku region in EU and alliance-level programmes (ENDR, EnSure Collaborative, EDF consortia, NATO DIANA, NATO Innovation Range). Establish ecosystem-level connections to the industrial ecosystems of Northern European prime contractors cluster-to-cluster, not individual customer relationships. Coordinate the regions international event presence as a recognized European maritime security cluster. Connect international work to Turku Technology Campus (University of Turku, Åbo Akademi, Turku UAS, Novia) and to Finnish national authorities and industry associations. In this role you will build peer-cluster partnerships with Northern European maritime security clusters, connect international work to Turku Technology Campus, position the Turku region in EU and alliance-level programmes, establish ecosystem-level connections to the industrial ecosystems of Northern European prime contractors. You should have a strong combination of commercial and institutional substance, demonstrated experience in international networking and partnership building. Considered an advantage are existing networks in the maritime, defence or security sector in Northern Europe, familiarity with EU and alliance-level instruments, experience in commercial diplomacy, export promotion or investment promotion, and understanding of dual-use technologies, autonomous systems or industrial AI. Note on eligibility: applicants must hold citizenship of a NATO member state. Finnish citizenship is not required. This role is international by design and can be performed in English. At the same time Business Turku´s working language is Finnish. We expect a working command of Finnish or a credible willingness to build it during the assignment, and we are happy to support language development.
