Early Childhood Education Teacher, Pre-Primary Education - Oripään kunta - Oripää, Finland

We are looking for an early childhood education teacher for pre-primary education. The ideal candidate should have expertise in early childhood education, good interaction and teamwork skills, and an enthusiastic approach to work. The teacher's responsibilities include planning and implementing the pre-primary group activities in collaboration with the team. Community spirit and warm interaction with children are valued in Oripää's early childhood education. The candidate must meet the qualifications specified in the Early Childhood Education Act (540/2018) and additionally have qualifications for teaching pre-primary education (Decree 986/1998 and Decree 865/2005). The municipality of Oripää promotes occupational well-being through e-pass, gym cards, and clothing allowance. We hope the selected candidate will start on August 1, 2026. The salary for a formally qualified early childhood education teacher in Oripää is €3005.79/month (as of 4/2026), plus a level-based allowance for pre-primary teaching. The qualification requirements are based on the Decree on Qualifications for Early Childhood Education Staff (540/2018) §§ 26/27. The working hours are 38.25 hours/week, and salary is determined according to the Collective Agreement for Municipal Personnel (KVTES). The position is filled on a 6-month trial period, and the selected candidate must submit an acceptable medical certificate and a criminal record extract within 30 days of the decision.
