Production Manager, Forcit Pori - Forcit Group - Helsinki, Finland

Forcit is a Finnish explosive industry company with over 130 years of experience. We aim to enable a safe and sustainable society. Currently, nearly 800 dedicated professionals work for us. We are building a new TNT production plant in Noormarkku, Pori, with an estimated staff of 70 at start-up in 2028. As a Production Manager, you will build smooth daily operations and effective collaboration with local colleagues and group-level partners. You will be involved in production planning and responsible for production at the start-up of the plant. Before the start-up, you will serve as the commissioning manager. Your key responsibilities include production planning, start-up, operational management, personnel and resource management, safety, quality, compliance with authorities, process development, project coordination, and efficiency improvement. You need good interaction skills and will work closely with various functions and stakeholders, especially during construction. We seek an experienced production leader who enjoys creating new and building functional entities collaboratively. You should have strong experience in industrial production management, budgeting, safety management, process development (e.g., LEAN, KPI), and leadership skills. Fluency in Finnish and English is required. A suitable degree (DI or engineer, e.g., chemical engineering, process engineering, or production economics) is necessary. Knowledge of chemical handling regulations is a plus.
