Job Description
Are you interested in performing impactful surgical nursing on the orthopedics and traumatology ward S5a? Come work with us at the wonderful Bridge Hospital! Description of our operations Our nursing team is looking for reinforcements for interesting, meaningful, and rewarding tasks in our specialty. On ward S5A, we treat demanding spinal surgery patients, most of whom currently arrive via the emergency department. Additionally, the ward treats orthopedic-traumatological emergency patients. Our patient profile includes bone tumor surgery patients, and our ward's care responsibility includes national care for pelvic bone tumor patients. Acute spinal cord injury patients in the HUS area are treated on our ward until they are transferred to a demanding rehabilitation inpatient unit. What we hope for Experience and expertise in surgical nursing are an advantage, but not essential. Your motivation and initiative are primary. No one is left alone; we treat patients in teams following a partner model and multidisciplinarity, which is why good interaction and cooperation skills are important. There is an opportunity to develop into a top expert in surgical patient nursing! You will work in the Operative Result Area, where nurses collaborate in changing emergency situations to ensure safe patient care. If necessary, you will also work outside your own ward according to planned patient-centered operating models. We offer you * A planned orientation. We require vaccination protection in accordance with the Communicable Diseases Act for those working in customer and patient areas, and a health status report on pulmonary tuberculosis for those working in healthcare units.
