Möttiääspesä Jyväskylä Oy is a residential service unit established in spring 2024 for children and young people under 18 with developmental disabilities and those requiring special support. The unit is located in the Kukkula area of Jyväskylä. Möttiääspesä Jyväskylä Oy is part of the Möttiäänen Jyväskylä Oy and Möttiäänen Oy organizations. We are seeking guides for our residential service unit in Jyväskylä. As a guide, you will be responsible for caring for and supporting clients, taking into account their individual needs. The role includes varied, sometimes challenging, responsible, and diverse caregiving and customer service tasks, as well as assisting with daily activities. Experience in working with disabilities and with children and young people with challenging behavior is valued. You are flexible, proactive, and eager to learn new things. We expect a positive attitude and the ability to handle sometimes challenging situations with joy. We offer employment according to your preferences. You can work regularly or take shorter substitute shifts or gig work, for example, alongside studies or other employment. The work involves three-shift rotation. We aim to consider your preferences in shift planning. We require suitable education or studies in social and health care (e.g., practical nurse, social services student, rehabilitation instructor, nurse, or public health nurse). Avekki training is an advantage, as well as experience working with children and young people with challenging behavior. Basic medication management skills must be completed or can be completed immediately upon starting employment. The selected candidate must present an acceptable criminal record extract in accordance with law 504/2002 (concerning the criminal background check for those working with children). Experience with peg feeding tubes and suction devices is an advantage for practical nurses. Salary: private social sector collective agreement. NOTE: WORK STARTS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
