Maintenance Supervisor

We are looking for a maintenance supervisor for Oras Group’s Rauma factory to take daily leadership of shift maintenance, proactive maintenance, and product-change activities. You will lead a skilled team of about 25 technicians. The role emphasizes people and operations leadership; no hands-on installation or maintenance work is expected. In the startup phase of the new organization, at least half of your working time will focus on leadership and change implementation. Core duties include ensuring high availability of production machines and equipment, planning and staffing maintenance tasks, coordinating installations and product changes, acting as the electrical works lead for the Rauma unit and developing related processes and documentation, coaching your team, driving safety improvements, and coordinating with production, procurement and external service providers. You will monitor maintenance success by metrics such as equipment availability, preventive and corrective maintenance intervals, setup times, and repair times. Requirements include several years of maintenance supervision/leadership experience, S1/S2 electrical certification, strong leadership and change-management track record, knowledge of safety regulations, a suitable technical degree (AMK or equivalent), and fluency in Finnish and English with good IT skills. Nice-to-haves include practical experience with Lean tools (TPM, SFM, 5S), experience in discrete manufacturing and product-change management, familiarity with Novi maintenance system, experience as a fire alarm operator, and ATEX competence.
