Summer 2026: Practical Nurse, Home Care, Jämsänkoski - Keski-Suomen hyvinvointialue - Jämsä, Finland

We are looking for two summer substitutes for Jämsänkoski home care from June 1 to August 31, 2026. Summer work in Jämsänkoski home care offers diverse and mobile tasks, with each workday being different. The work is carried out in clients' homes, supported by remote care options when necessary. Tasks may include basic care, nursing procedures, medication management, health monitoring, and client service needs assessment. At Jämsänkoski home care, work is performed with a customer-oriented approach and a warm heart. You will be part of flexible work communities and develop your skills alongside experienced colleagues. Orientation is planned individually based on your needs, considering your previous experience and work history. The work involves two shifts, and you need a driver’s license and access to a car. In Central Finland’s welfare area, most units utilize autonomous shift planning to accommodate employees' different life situations. As a graduate practical nurse, you must be registered with the National Supervisory Authority for Welfare and Health. You must be suitable according to section 48 of the Infectious Diseases Act (e.g., chickenpox and measles). The employer will determine the need for influenza and whooping cough vaccinations. The selected candidate must present a criminal record extract (for work with the elderly) according to section 6 of the Criminal Records Act. We require current medication management skills or completion of medication training at the start of employment. Employment terms are based on the social and health care sector’s collective agreement (SOTE agreement). A probationary period applies.
