Equipment Quality Coordinator We are seeking an Equipment Quality Coordinator for our client, SATA Shipbuilding Oy, at the Mäntyluoto shipyard in Pori. The role involves overseeing quality control, inspections, and development of equipment installation work as part of the project organization. Job Description As Equipment Quality Coordinator, you will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring the quality of ship equipment installation work during various stages of production. You will work closely with production, design, clients, classification societies, and subcontractors to ensure that work is carried out according to requirements, standards, and project-specific quality objectives. Your tasks include * Quality control and inspections of equipment installation work at production sites * Ensuring the quality of installations and finishing work * Managing and documenting inspection and testing reports * Identifying, reporting deviations, and following up on corrective actions * Collaborating with clients, authorities, and classification society inspectors * Monitoring the quality of subcontractors’ work * Participating in handover and acceptance inspections * Maintaining and developing quality-related procedures Requirements * Suitable technical education (e.g., mechanical, electrical, production, or marine engineering) * Experience in quality control, production, or equipment installation work * Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions * Systematic, precise, and responsible working style * Good collaboration and communication skills * Proficiency in Finnish and English Preferred qualifications * Experience in shipyard, maritime, or project industry * Knowledge of quality systems and auditing practices * Experience with shipbuilding equipment installation, interior, piping, machinery, or electrical work * Experience with client and classification society inspections We offer * A key role in significant shipbuilding projects * Opportunities to develop and influence production quality * A diverse role in an international environment * Support from a skilled team and modern tools * Competitive salary and employee benefits * Opportunities for professional development and career advancement SATA Shipbuilding Oy offers a permanent position in a growing and developing company.
