Job Description

As an MV control panel designer, you will be responsible for the electrical and functional application design of medium voltage panels based on customer requirements. The work combines technical design, project management, and practical production support. You will create electrical drawings and other project documentation, manage materials, and work closely with mechanical design, procurement, and product managers. In this role, you will implement your plans by supporting production and solving technical challenges during the assembly and expansion of control panels. Projects range from small modifications and expansions of existing panels to large international delivery projects. The work is not just repetitive standard solutions; you will also have the opportunity to design and customize technical solutions to meet individual customer needs. The position requires weekly presence at the Vaasa office. Job Tasks - Preparing partial lists of MV panels in SAP system using Excel - Designing and editing primary and secondary circuit diagrams with Eplan software - Creating project-specific work instructions for production - Providing technical support and troubleshooting during production - Collaborating closely with mechanical design, procurement, and product managers. We Are Looking For - Suitable educational background (e.g., electrical power engineering) - Proficiency in Eplan or similar design tools - Understanding of component-level power and voltage transformers and protective relays - Ability to read and modify circuit diagrams - Fluent Finnish and English skills; Swedish skills are considered an advantage - Good Excel skills. We Appreciate If You Have - Knowledge of Strömberg MH panels and older panels - Previous experience with SAP system. To succeed in this role, you are: - Development-oriented and solution-focused - Cooperative and able to communicate smoothly with various stakeholders - Eager to develop in electrical design.
