We are seeking a sales-oriented CEO for our client Aava Shipping in Pori to lead and grow a logistics company in a rapid growth phase. The role offers a central position in shaping the future of Aava Shipping. Your responsibilities include comprehensive business management, developing customer relationships, and implementing growth strategies through organic expansion and acquisitions. The ideal candidate has strong experience in the logistics sector, particularly with port operations, which is considered a significant advantage. You have previously held managerial or leadership roles, possess a sales-driven approach, and have the ability to build and strengthen customer relationships. Responsibilities include strategic management of the company's business and overseeing daily operations, acquisition of new customers and management and development of key accounts, driving growth through organic means and acquisitions, leading, coaching, and developing the team, financial management, results oversight, and reporting to the board. What we expect from you: strong experience in the logistics sector, previous managerial or leadership experience, sales-oriented mindset and ability to establish long-term customer relationships, energetic personality and proactive work approach, fluent in Finnish and English; Swedish is considered an advantage, experience in port operations is an advantage.
