English School is seeking a primary school teacher for Grade 1 from August 10, 2026, to December 19, 2026. English School was founded in 1945 and is Finland's oldest bilingual school. The school's special task is to teach English and Finnish languages and cultures. The school has approximately 700 students and about 70 staff members. The position is located in preschool and primary school at Mäntytie 14. Teaching is conducted in English or Finnish depending on the subject. Finnish-speaking teachers teach some subjects in English. We are looking for a native Finnish-speaking primary school teacher interested in working in a bilingual Finnish-English environment. Experience in early childhood education is considered an advantage. The English-speaking school offers an inspiring and community-oriented work environment.
