Job Description
We are looking for energetic, goal-oriented, and eager-to-develop salespeople for a permanent position as part of our motivating work community. As a Sector Alarm salesperson, you are genuinely making a difference — helping to secure people's homes, bringing peace of mind to their daily lives, and potentially saving lives. The demand for home security services continues to grow. We offer consumers and small businesses Finland's most highly rated alarm system service. Our Trustpilot rating is an impressive 4.8 / 5, indicating highly satisfied customers. A typical workday in brief - Working hours: You primarily work on weekdays from 13:00 to 21:00. You can work full-time or part-time, which means three consecutive full workdays. - Starting the day: The day begins with your team at our sales office, where you train on different stages of sales under the supervision of a supervisor and set daily goals. - Out in the field: From the office, you head to various residential areas, usually accompanied by your supervisor. Upon arrival, you independently contact residents and arrange meetings at their homes, often at a separate scheduled time. You meet dozens of new people daily, and the work is active and mobile — you walk over 10,000 steps on average each day. - Meetings at customer homes: You sit down with customers at a table and discuss how our services can secure their daily lives. Listening is as important as talking in this role! You handle sales, while a separate installation team takes care of device setup. This allows you to focus entirely on understanding customer needs and offering suitable solutions. - End of the day: In the evening, you gather with your team to review the day’s learnings, share successes, and reflect on the day’s events. What skills will you develop as a salesperson? Sales work builds confidence, negotiation skills, and the ability to meet different people — skills useful in all areas of life. Every customer interaction is an opportunity to grow — the days are full of variety, challenges, and successes that make you a better salesperson. The right attitude is key: activity, courage, and willingness to face challenges will take you far. It is said that door-to-door sales is the king of sales — if you succeed here, you can succeed anywhere! How do we support your success? - Training and coaching: You will receive comprehensive onboarding and ongoing coaching to develop into the best possible salesperson. Daily sales practice and supervision from your manager support your growth. Additionally, you will progress through our five-stage sales training program within Sector Way Academy, systematically guiding you toward becoming a top salesperson. - Supportive team spirit and ongoing support: Although the work is independent, you are not alone! Our strong team spirit is visible in daily life and active chat culture: successes are celebrated together, and help is always available. Your supervisor will work alongside you, helping set ambitious goals and building a clear plan to achieve them. They will give feedback and guide you to focus on what moves you toward your goals. - Career opportunities: Our growth opportunities are truly in your hands. As we grow, we offer interesting career paths both in Finland and internationally. Many of our salespeople have advanced to sales managers in less than a year, and in 2025, 50% of our sales management positions will be filled internally. Even if your career does not continue with us, you will gain valuable work experience that opens doors to any career path. - Contests and rewards: Our success is visible and felt. We organize fun sales competitions and challenges, rewarding achievements. Top performers also have the chance to earn a spot on memorable training trips abroad. We compete in a positive spirit and always encourage each other to surpass ourselves. Together, we aim for shared goals — without forgetting to have fun! What do we offer you? - Opportunity to influence your salary: Our pay model directly links your activity and success to your earnings. Your salary consists of sales-based commission and monthly bonuses. Our best salespeople earn over €6,000 per month, and the average salesperson earns around €2,200. **This year's highest monthly income has been €10,250** — could your next top result be yours? - Well-being and employee benefits: We care about your well-being by providing occupational health services at Terveystalo, lunch benefits, and sports and cultural benefits. Your well-being is important to us even outside working hours! - Team spirit and events: You will be surrounded by energetic colleagues who share your drive to progress. Our annual Awards Gala, unforgettable summer parties, and our sales organization’s own events make workdays special. Check out our daily life on Instagram and TikTok (@sectoralarmstaff) - Employee-recommended workplace: We truly enjoy working here! Our employee satisfaction surveys show excellent results, and many say this is the best workplace they have experienced. Our sales team’s eNPS score is an outstanding 80, well above the industry average of 20-30. This indicates that our employees enjoy working with us! What do we require from you? - At least 18 years old - Excellent Finnish language skills - Clean criminal record What do we expect from you? - Right attitude: You are active, brave, and motivated, not afraid of failure but eager to learn from it. - Good communication skills - Goal-oriented - Willingness to learn - Teamwork skills - Competitive spirit - Commitment to working hours: You work on weekdays from 13:00 to 21:00, either full-time or part-time, three days in a row.
