We are seeking an experienced professional to join Monad as a Senior Cloud & DevOps Engineer, strengthening our data, cloud and DevOps capabilities for critical digital solutions used across industries such as aerospace, defence, healthcare and critical infrastructure. In this role you design, build and operate the cloud and data platform foundations. Your work enables applications, data flows, analytics and AI components to be deployed to production in a controlled, secure and maintainable manner. You are involved early to ensure architecture, automation, security, observability and deployability are built into the solution from the outset. You will bridge conversations with developers, data specialists, architects and customers, translating technical solutions into a coherent whole. We value durable, simple, and reproducible approaches over flashy but hard-to-maintain hacks. To be successful you should understand production readiness in safety-critical environments and be able to think about security, monitoring, and maintainability years into the future.

Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud infrastructure as code
- Build and develop CI/CD pipelines for applications and data platforms
- Deploy containerized solutions and data/analytics components to production
- Develop observability solutions including logs, metrics, tracing, alerts, dashboards
- Collaborate with developers, data engineers, architects and customers
- Advocate for sustainable, maintainable and secure solutions
Requirements
- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud) with strong hands-on experience
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, OpenTofu, Bicep or Pulumi)
- CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps or Jenkins)
- Docker and container technologies
- Kubernetes (AKS, EKS, GKE or on-prem)
- Helm, GitOps, Argo CD, Flux
- Linux scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell)
- Observability and monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry)
- Data platforms (data warehouse, data lake or lakehouse)
- Data orchestration (Airflow, Dagster, Azure Data Factory)
- SQL and at least one programming language (Python or TypeScript)
- Security focus and production-readiness
