Jousenkaari Daycare has a permanent position available for an early childhood education teacher. The group arrangements for the upcoming autumn are still being planned, so you can express your preferences for the group! Alternatively, you may work as a kindergarten teacher at the school premises. Jousenkaari Daycare has five groups for children aged 0-5 years. Our pre-primary group operates in the neighboring Jousenkaari School premises. The daycare is located in Tapiola, Espoo, close to excellent public transportation and near the metro station. Jousenkaari Daycare is a well-functioning facility that values shared activities, and we have wonderful families! We make good use of nearby outdoor and sports facilities. As an early childhood education teacher, you will be responsible for planning, assessment, and pedagogy of your group with the support of your team. Your team members include another early childhood education teacher and a childcare assistant. Qualifications: According to the Early Childhood Education Act (540/2018). Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education, including early childhood education training, or a social and health care university degree (early childhood education) or an equivalent previous qualification, e.g., kindergarten teacher or social educator (Act 272/2005 and Regulation 608/2005). Applicants who are about to graduate in early childhood education are also considered. The selected candidate must present a criminal record extract as required by the Criminal Records Act 6.2 §. The Infectious Diseases Act requires those working with preschool children to assess the risk of tuberculosis transmission.
