Senior Software Developer, Payments (Helsinki) - Elisa Oyj - Remote - Global

Elisa’s Digital Services is a dynamic unit responsible for creating a wide range of services for both corporate and consumer customers. We are a diverse group of professionals — designers, developers, product owners, and more — collaborating to innovate and bring new services to life. We're looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our brand-new Payment Gateway team. This is an exciting opportunity to be in at the very beginning, shaping Elisa's new, company-wide Payment Gateway! Your prior experience in payment systems will be a huge advantage. You'll be crucial in building and developing our new Payment Gateway. While an external vendor will develop the MVP by 2026, you'll be involved from the start, focusing on future development and integrations, monitoring the platform and performance, taking ownership of the completed Payment Gateway, alongside our Product Owner and business stakeholders. Daily work involves maintaining, monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous development of the PGW. What we're looking for: Essential Technical Skills: React, Golang, MySQL, APIs. Desired Expertise: Experience of payment integrations, Experience in modern web user interfaces, Various payment methods (e.g., in App payments, Mobile SDK), Security of web applications (e.g., OWASP), Flutter and ReactNative, GCP. Soft Skills: Proactive and self-driven approach, Ability to take broad responsibility for large entities, Excellent collaboration skills, Strong team player with a positive attitude. We're primarily looking for a developer with Finnish language skills for this role, but English will be your working language. What do we offer?
