Substitute Head Nurse, Elderly Services, Residential Services, Uusikaupunki - Varsinais-Suomen hyvinvointialue - Uusikaupunki, Finland

The substitution period is from June 15, 2026, to December 12, 2026. Your tasks As the responsible nurse of the unit, you will oversee nursing work at Kalannin Service Center in collaboration with the multidisciplinary care team. You will work closely with the unit's supervisor, doctors, practical nurses, care assistants, and support staff. You will be responsible for the comprehensive planning, implementation, and evaluation of residents' care, considering individual care needs, medical orders, and patient safety. Kalannin Service Center has 22 long-term residential places. The unit employs a supervisor, a responsible nurse, 14 practical nurses, a care assistant, and support staff responsible for cleaning and kitchen tasks. You will work in a multidisciplinary and committed team with the shared goal of enabling residents to live well. A recruitment bonus of 4% of the salary will be available from the start of a 3-month employment period.
