On-call Cook/Chef - Pelastusarmeija - Nummela, Finland

Pelastusarmeijan Lasten Lomakoti is located in Nummela, in a natural environment. The holiday home organizes camps for school-aged children and youth during school holidays. It also hosts various events, training, recreational days, and other occasions throughout the year. With new facilities, we aim to expand our rental activities, which is why we need more skilled kitchen staff. The work is initially on an on-call basis, so the workload may vary seasonally. As operations grow, more shifts may be offered regularly. Tasks include preparing breakfast, lunch, dinner, and evening snacks, considering special diets, planning menus, and ordering supplies, maintaining kitchen hygiene and cleanliness, implementing self-monitoring, handling and storing received foodstuffs, and participating in other kitchen tasks as needed. We hope you have a suitable education or practical experience in cooking or large-scale cooking, a hygiene passport, the ability to work independently and responsibly, a flexible attitude, good teamwork skills, and a positive, service-oriented attitude with a desire to provide quality dining experiences for children and adults. Salary: Private social services sector collective agreement, salary class G18, €13.56/hour plus possible additional pay. The work is located at Pelastusarmeijan Lasten Lomakoti in Nummela.
