Job Description
We are looking for qualified home care assistants to work with families in the Western Uusimaa region. In family home care, you will take care of children in our clients' families, engaging in play and outdoor activities with children. You will support the daily life and well-being of families through your work, helping to prevent and alleviate issues early on. We offer flexible work arrangements according to your life situation, in families that suit you. Typically, shifts last 2-4 hours. Work is mainly available Monday to Friday between 16:00 and 21:00, and on Saturdays between 08:00 and 18:00. You can choose when to work! Ideally, you can commit to at least one family for about 2-3 months. Work is primarily conducted in the clients' homes within Espoo, Kauniainen, and Kirkkonummi. WHAT WE OFFER: - €16.36/hour plus evening and weekend bonuses according to the private social services sector collective agreement, and a transition bonus for each transition during your workday if working with multiple families on the same day. - Comprehensive paid orientation and opportunities for regular training and professional development. - Statutory occupational health services and accident insurance. - Your supervisor Anna will support you in your independent work whenever needed. - We also have a referral bonus. If you recommend Sivina Hoivanetti as a workplace to a friend and the referral results in a hire, we will pay you a €50 referral bonus. WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU: - Qualification as a home care assistant or other relevant social or health care qualification (e.g., child caregiver, nursery nurse, home helper). - Professional experience working with children and families. - Proactive attitude and ability to work independently. - Good spoken and written Finnish skills (please note: good Finnish skills are required for this position). - At least one reference from previous employment working with children. - Clean criminal record suitable for working with children. - The selected candidate must present a criminal background check in accordance with section 6, paragraph 2 of the Criminal Records Act. - Registration with the National Registry of Professional Health Care Professionals maintained by Valvira is required. Additional experience working with children with special needs (e.g., neuropsychiatric challenges, autism spectrum disorders) is appreciated.
