Job Description
We are looking for an early childhood education childcare worker at Norlandia Puisto. Imagine, I can put on gloves all by myself! Guess what I managed to write at home yesterday — my name. Today, I dared to go down a big slide for the first time. In your work, you are the one who hears, sees, and is genuinely present in the children's daily lives. You are a professional in early childhood education who creates an environment that allows for learning, wonder, and collaborative activities. What do we expect from you? You are a qualified early childhood education childcare worker who can support children's growth, play, exploration, and understanding in various everyday situations. You work naturally with your team and families to ensure the children's day progresses smoothly and consistently. You participate in planning and developing activities and are responsible for ensuring that daily situations are appropriate for children and support their learning. We offer you A fixed-term employment from August 10 to December 18, 2026, as a maternity leave replacement, with the possibility of extension. An opportunity to influence your group’s activities. Private occupational health services. Sports, culture, and well-being benefits. Affordable workplace meals. Training opportunities through Norlandia Academy. Why Norlandia Daycares? Our employees say that the best thing about Norlandia is that managers and support organizations are genuinely close and supportive in daily situations. Everyone has the opportunity to influence their work and develop daily routines. Each of our daycares operates with a local approach, and the benefits offered by the chain support smooth daily operations. Community and participation make us a workplace where people enjoy working long-term. Apply now! Send your application by June 14, 2026. We review applications during the application period and will fill the position as soon as a suitable candidate is found. For more information about the position, contact daycare director Kirsi Suominen at 050 596 7067 or kirsi.suominen@norlandia.com. The selected candidate must present a criminal record extract before starting employment (Act on the Criminal Background Check of Persons Working with Children 504/2002).
