Chiropodist, Karkkila-Nummela and Hanko-Raasepori Chiropody Units, Western Uusimaa Wellbeing Service Area - Länsi-Uudenmaan hyvinvointialue

We are seeking two chiropodists for permanent positions in the chiropody units. One position involves working between Karkkila and Nummela (part of the week in Karkkila, part in Nummela). The other involves working between Raasepori and Hanko (part of the week in Raasepori, part in Hanko). We welcome applicants who are recent graduates or more experienced chiropodists. The work is independent patient care as part of a professional team. In our region, there are five other chiropodists with whom you will collaborate closely. The work focuses on clinical chiropody, especially: care for diabetic, rheumatology, and neuropathy patients. Patients may have issues such as circulatory problems, ulcers, toe and nail problems, or complications from underlying diseases. Job responsibilities include: assessing chiropody needs, planning, implementing and evaluating treatments, patient guidance, and possibly group activities. You will have access to comfortable treatment rooms and appropriate equipment. What do we expect from you? Relevant education: Bachelor’s degree in chiropody. Licensure as a healthcare professional (Act 559/94). - Experience in clinical chiropody is an advantage - Good manual skills and customer-oriented approach - Ability to work independently and in a team - Good communication and networking skills - Proficiency in Finnish and Swedish (especially in the Raasepori/Hanko area) Additionally, we require: Vaccination against infectious diseases according to section 48 of the Infectious Diseases Act. Swedish language skills are an advantage.
