Job Description
Are you our next champion of the circular economy? We are seeking an ambitious and goal-oriented Sales Lead to build Syklon's international success story in the sales of recycled plastic materials. We produce high-quality plastic granulate, with primary markets in Europe and Asia. As a champion of sales and the circular economy, you: - Facilitator: Your efforts give our high-quality recycled plastic granulate a new life as raw material in the plastics industry. You will be responsible for sales of Syklon recycled plastic materials in Finland and internationally, together with the sales team. - Change agent: Develop our materials in collaboration with production experts and customers to ensure the final product meets technical and quality requirements. - Pioneer: Join a team building a company at the forefront of new technology and shaping the future circular economy market. Your role will focus on international new customer acquisition and developing long-term customer relationships. Join the revolution of the circular economy This role emphasizes building customer relationships, with about half of the working time spent visiting clients domestically or across Europe. You will be a trusted expert and partner for our customers, interpreting product and process requirements. Presenting sample materials and participating in test runs are typical tasks. Our sales team is dynamic with strong technical expertise in plastic materials. We work closely together, progressing towards goals with high motivation. Although responsibilities are individual, team members support each other continuously. Communication with the rest of the sales team occurs through weekly meetings, office visits, and regular one-on-one discussions. Sales progress is tracked using Salesforce CRM. In your role, you will be responsible for the results in your sales area and for implementing Syklon’s sales strategy for recycled plastic materials. You will directly influence the performance, profitability, and customer satisfaction of Syklo Oy’s subsidiary, Syklo Plastics Recycling Oy. Key skills and competencies You can be an experienced professional or an emerging star. The most important qualities are the ability to learn quickly and a strong internal drive to succeed. We hope you have experience with plastic materials and the plastics industry, as well as knowledge of international B2B product sales and the dynamics of the plastic material market. International new customer acquisition and customer management come naturally to you, and you are confident operating in new markets. Knowledge of polymer chemistry and previous experience in factory or plant environments are considered advantages. You act proactively, maintain focus under pressure, and move things forward systematically and decisively. Most importantly, you are a friendly and cooperative colleague who is excited about ambitious goals and shares our desire to change the world with innovative circular economy solutions. We hope you have a suitable university degree, such as a Master’s in Materials Engineering or Business Administration. Fluent Finnish and English skills are essential; proficiency in German and French is an advantage.
