A fixed-term position for a practical nurse (so-called internal substitute) in the elderly home care pool until 30.9.2026. The elderly home care pool operates regionally, meaning in each municipality of Kainuu. We are looking for a practical nurse for a fixed-term position, with the home base in Kajaani home care. The employee will be oriented to each municipality/area separately. We are seeking a practical nurse who wants to work by utilizing the functional capacity and resources of elderly people living at home and support them in their daily lives, considering the client's life sphere and network opportunities. You will have the support of a competent and open work community, where every daily challenge is met with a customer-oriented solution together. You will always have access to the multidisciplinary support of the work community. The work is independent, mobile, and varied. It involves shift work. A driving license is essential. Interest in utilizing technology is considered an advantage. We offer orientation and a development-oriented atmosphere. The qualification requirement is a protected title of practical nurse. We require vaccination protection according to section 48 of the Infectious Diseases Act. The selected candidate must present a criminal background check certificate before taking up the position, to work with the elderly. The salary is in accordance with the task's complexity assessment confirmed by the Kainuu Welfare Area. The work begins according to agreement. Probation period 1 month.
