We are looking for a practical nurse interested in caring for elderly residents at Hoitokoti Päiväkumpu Paloheinä unit, for a permanent position. The start is in June, so apply soon! You are the right person if you enjoy working with elderly and dementia patients, are professional and collegial. The role involves comprehensive care and nursing in round-the-clock assisted living. Tasks include basic care, individual needs, supporting functional capacity, and promoting quality of life according to Päiväkumpu’s philosophy. Responsibilities include care planning, RAI assessments, monitoring and evaluation, responsible nursing, quality documentation, and teamwork with relatives and multidisciplinary staff. We hope you will participate in developing nursing work and ensuring smooth daily operations. The Paloheinä care home is a peaceful, cozy group home for 30 elderly residents, located in a green area surrounded by detached houses, with good parking. Salary is G20, practical nurse €2449.58–€2649.79, under the private social services collective agreement, with shift allowances and possible medication responsibility. The work is mainly two-shift. Hygienic certificate and medication licenses are required. You must have a Finnish approved practical nurse/basic nurse degree, good spoken and written Finnish skills, and we will check vaccination and criminal record.
