Job Description
Airalo is seeking an Analytics Engineering Manager to lead our self-service analytics infrastructure and data modeling practice. You will establish how we model data, govern metrics, and roll out self-service capabilities across a 20M+ user business operating in 190+ countries. The role involves leading a team, driving adoption of Lightdash, developing dashboards, and collaborating with stakeholders to translate needs into scalable data models.

Responsibilities
- Lead and grow a team of analytics engineers
- Drive the rollout and adoption of Lightdash
- Own dashboard development and stakeholder collaboration
- Translate reporting needs into data products
- Design and deliver training and enablement programs
- Evolve core dbt models and semantic layer
- Establish governance and standards
- Partner with analysts and data engineering
Requirements
- 5+ years in analytics engineering, data engineering, or technical analytics roles
- 2+ years of people management experience
- Proficiency in dbt, SQL, and at least one programming language (Python preferred)
- Experience with semantic layer / metrics layer (Lightdash, Looker, MetricFlow)
- Experience in self-service analytics adoption
