We are seeking a summer substitute for Muurame Hospital until August 2, 2026. The patient profile at Muurame Hospital has been renewed, and patients are transferred to the ward from other wards within the regional ward operations for continued rehabilitation after acute care. The planning and implementation of care emphasize a rehabilitative approach and the promotion of patient independence and functional capacity. We collaborate with relatives, various professional groups, and other care units. You will become part of a flexible work community and develop your skills alongside experienced colleagues. Orientation is planned individually based on your needs, considering factors such as your previous expertise and work history. The work involves three-shift rotation. In most units within the Central Finland welfare area, autonomous shift planning is utilized, allowing consideration of employees' different life situations. As a graduate practical nurse, you must be registered as a professional with the National Supervisory Authority for Welfare and Health. We require up-to-date medication administration skills according to the medication plan or completion of this at the start of employment. You must also meet the suitability requirements under Section 48 of the Infectious Diseases Act (chickenpox and measles). The employer will determine the need for influenza and whooping cough vaccinations. The selected candidate must present a criminal record extract according to Section 6 of the Criminal Records Act (working with the elderly). The terms of employment are governed by the social and health care sector's collective agreement (SOTE agreement).
