Located in Linnavuori, AGCO Power is one of the world's leading manufacturers of diesel engines, operating production facilities in China, Brazil, and Argentina. Formerly known as Sisu Diesel, AGCO Power has been part of the AGCO Corporation since 2004 and has supplied reliable power for nearly 80 years. We are now seeking employees for the machining department at the Linnavuori site, with the position titled CNC MACHINIST, LINNAVUORI, NOKIA You will work in AGCO Power’s machining department. Your task is to work with a partner to manage a machining cell that includes multiple machining centers and ensure smooth process flow. The parts produced are various gears and shafts, with batch sizes typically in the hundreds. Your daily tasks will involve automation and process control, such as tool maintenance and mechanical adjustments for machining centers and robots. You will also need to use manual measuring tools. Programming skills are not required but are considered an advantage. Currently, work is performed in two shifts, with the possibility to move to three shifts if needed. WHAT KIND OF PERSON ARE WE LOOKING FOR? Primarily, we are looking for someone with proven experience in machining tasks and a suitable metal industry education. Since the role covers a broad scope and involves learning the details of multiple machine operations, there is potential for long-term learning and development, and we hope to find a long-term employee. In coordinating the machining process, a proactive work style and the ability to schedule subsequent steps are important. We value carefulness, attention to detail, and the ability to manage overall processes. WHAT DO WE OFFER?
