Cleaners for Kilpilahti (August–October) We are looking for proactive cleaners for the industrial area of Kilpilahti in Porvoo during a maintenance shutdown. Kilpilahti is the largest oil refining and petrochemical hub in the Nordic countries, and during the maintenance shutdown, the area becomes a busy construction site with many professionals working there. We are now seeking workers to maintain cleanliness and a safe working environment. Job description In this role, you will be responsible for the cleanliness and functionality of the industrial environment. The work includes, for example: - Cleaning of office spaces, construction site containers, and common areas - Maintaining cleanliness of stairwells and walkways - Sweeping, mopping, and machine cleaning of floors - Wiping surfaces and dust removal - Cleaning of toilets and social facilities - Collecting, sorting, and removing waste - Special cleaning tasks if needed (e.g., industrial vacuuming) The goal of industrial cleaning is to maintain a safe and functional work environment. Cleanliness reduces accident risks and supports smooth work processes. The work is physical and requires movement during the shift. Working hours and duration - The work begins in late August - The employment lasts until early October - Average working hours are 37.5 hours per week - Overtime may be possible - The work is shift-based (morning and evening shifts) - Work also includes weekends It is possible to commute to day shifts by public transport from Porvoo, but commuting without a car for evening and weekend shifts is more challenging. We expect from you - Readiness for physical work - A proactive and independent work attitude - Carefulness and responsibility - Ability to follow safety instructions - A valid safety card - Good Finnish language skills Previous experience in cleaning or industrial work is considered an advantage.
