Job Description
We are seeking a full-time substitute teacher (religion, health education) for Ojamonharju Comprehensive School for grades 7-9 from August 1, 2026, to July 31, 2027. The position also includes resource teaching. Applicants are expected to have teaching experience, proficiency in diverse teaching methods, good pedagogical skills, teamwork skills, and the ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment and engage in genuine interaction. The role requires an independent, active, and development-oriented approach. Ojamonharju Comprehensive School is a school with approximately 600 students located in Lohja, Ojamonharju. The school staff consists of about 70 teachers. The upper secondary school students make up about 200 of the total student body in fall 2025. The certificates should show the completed degree and qualifying studies (e.g., pedagogical studies 60 credits, multidisciplinary studies 60 credits, subject teacher qualifications 60/120 credits). Salary is based on OVTES. The position is subject to a trial period, which is half of the employment duration. The selected candidate must present a health certificate from Keski-Uudenmaan Työterveys Oy, Lohja office, within one month of starting employment. Additionally, a criminal background check as per law (504/2002) must be provided. Interviews will be held on June 2, 2026.
