Job Description
Apply for this job atNorth is a leading Nordic data center company providing cost-effective, scalable high-density colocation and built-to-suit services to industry-leading organizations across Iceland, Sweden, Finland, and Denmark. With sustainability at our core, our data centers run on renewable energy and are designed according to circular economy principles. Through innovative design, power efficiency, and intelligent operations, we deliver reliable, secure, and high-performance infrastructure. Headquartered in Reykjavik, Iceland, atNorth operates eight data centers across the Nordics, with additional sites under development in Finland, Denmark, and Sweden. We combine world-class technology with a people-first culture built on collaboration, ownership, and trust, empowering our teams to grow, take responsibility, and make a real impact. By joining our international team, you will help shape the future of sustainable digital infrastructure. This role is positioned at the intersection of Finance, ERP governance, and operational excellence. You will play a key role in developing scalable and standardized financial and operational processes that support atNorth’s continued Nordic expansion. As Manager Finance Excellence & Process, you will lead the Finance Excellence and ERP Process function, ensuring alignment between business processes, systems, governance frameworks, and operational execution across all Nordic entities. You will act as a central link between Finance, IT, Operations, Procurement, Business Control, and external ERP partners, helping ensure that systems and processes support both current operations and future growth. A key focus of this role will be driving consistency, scalability, and continuous improvement across financial and operational processes. Your responsibilities will include owning and governing process standards across Finance, Procurement, Projects, and related operational areas, ensuring aligned and compliant processes across Iceland, Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Denmark, maintaining process documentation, workflows, controls, and governance structures, and supporting alignment with group accounting principles and operational standards. From a systems and ERP perspective, you will own and drive the ERP roadmap and process improvement agenda, prioritize enhancements, integrations, fixes, and change requests, coordinate testing, documentation, user acceptance processes, and change management activities, and ensure scalable and efficient ERP governance across the organization. You will also lead and coordinate the superuser network across atNorth by training and supporting key users across functions and geographies, driving aligned system usage and process adherence, building internal capability and knowledge sharing, and facilitating participation in testing and continuous improvement initiatives. The role includes leadership responsibility for the internal ERP support and process function, coordinating closely with external implementation and support partners to ensure clear prioritization, delivery quality, workload management, and efficient collaboration. Beyond governance and support, this role is about building scalable foundations for future growth. You will actively identify inefficiencies within financial and operational workflows and help implement improvements through automation initiatives, process optimization, system configuration improvements, reporting enhancements, and training and adoption activities. You will contribute to ensuring that atNorth’s ERP and process landscape remains robust, scalable, and operationally efficient as the organization continues to grow across markets and functions. We are looking for someone who combines strong ERP and finance process understanding with a structured and improvement-oriented mindset. You are comfortable operating in cross-functional environments and enjoy creating clarity, structure, and alignment between systems, people, and processes. You hold a degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field, with 3–7+ years of experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or similar ERP platforms. You have a strong understanding of financial processes, governance, and operational workflows, experience with ERP implementations, rollouts, or process harmonization projects, and familiarity with incident management, support structures, and change management processes. Experience working in Nordic or international multi-country environments and professional proficiency in English are required. It is advantageous if you also have experience with Power BI or reporting platforms, integrations and data migration activities, automation initiatives and process optimization, and Microsoft or project management certifications. You are analytical, structured, and naturally process-oriented, pragmatic, collaborative, and proactive. You build strong relationships across functions and geographies, thrive in environments requiring communication, coordination, and continuous improvement, and are motivated by creating structure, enabling efficiency, and supporting business growth. In this role, you will significantly influence how financial and operational processes are governed and developed across atNorth, contributing directly to operational excellence, compliance, scalability, and long-term business efficiency. We believe that sustainable success starts with the wellbeing of our people. Our culture is open, transparent, and inclusive, emphasizing regular engagement, listening, and continuous improvement. We foster a community where everyone can do their best work and shape a sustainable future.
