Job Description As an Energy Manager, you will lead a team of five production and field technicians (installers and specialists) and serve as a unifying force for operations. You will ensure that practical knowledge and operational situational awareness flow smoothly between the field and management. Work Tasks In your role, you will be responsible for operational management, coaching your team, and providing technical expertise at the customer interface. Key responsibilities: - Operational management and leadership: daily team management, task coordination, and maintaining open communication. - Maintenance and production reliability: ensuring the operation and maintenance of energy production facilities and networks. - Sales support: participating in stakeholder meetings (such as property managers, housing companies, and local entrepreneurs) as a production and practical expert. - International cooperation: providing technical support in large, international data center projects related to energy processes and contract negotiations. What are the requirements and criteria for the role? Success in this role requires a balance of technical understanding and strong people management skills. Mandatory skills and background: - Proven leadership experience: successful management of people, teams, or projects (e.g., project manager, team leader, site manager, or leadership in RUK/hobby activities). - Technical industry knowledge: good understanding of the energy sector, how energy is produced from various fuels, process industry, HVAC technology, or maintenance. Ability to quickly grasp the principles of energy production and networks. - Language skills: fluent Finnish and English, both spoken and written. - Driver's license: B-class license is essential for travel to customer sites in the local area. Preferred skills: - Education in energy technology, mechanical engineering, or electrical automation (e.g., engineer or MSc), or strong professional experience. - Basic understanding of automation systems (e.g., SCADA) and operation systems. - C-class driver’s license. Location and Accessibility The office is located in North-Uusimaa with excellent transport connections. It is easily accessible by car from: - Lahti area: approx. 30 minutes - Hyvinkää and Järvenpää: approx. 25–30 minutes - Greater Helsinki area (Vantaa, Helsinki, Espoo): approx. 40–50 minutes Basic information about the role - Job title: Energy Manager, Team Leader, Operations Manager - Industry: Energy, maintenance, critical infrastructure, process industry - Location: North-Uusimaa - Salary: 5,000 – 7,000 €/month (base salary) + on-call allowances. Total annual earnings can reach approximately 100,000 euros. - Working hours and type: Full-time, mainly on-site at the office (max. 1 remote day/week) - Security clearance: The selected candidate will undergo a security clearance by the Finnish Security Intelligence Service and a health check by occupational health services before starting the role.
